Global achievements in aircraft financing
- 2009 & 2010 - Notwithstanding the global financial crisis and the withdrawal of a number of international banks from the aircraft finance markets, Investec remained committed to this sector and implemented funded aircraft transactions for a number of our existing clients.
- 2008 - Launched the Investec Global Aircraft Fund and facilitated the acquisition of US$500 million in aircraft, with further equity raised to expand the fund in 2009 and 2010
- 2007 and 2008 - Recognised as one of the top 10 banks globally (Airfinance Journal)
