This is the face of Investec, the bankers bank. This team is responsible for raising wholesale deposits, managing liquidity and interest rate risk for the group.

- Fixed long-term lending out to 30 years, facilitated by Investec’s presence in the derivatives markets
Corporate Treasury
Offering both corporate and commercial clients a direct dealing capability for foreign exchange requirements, short-term international and domestic money market products.

This includes debt provision, underwriting and equity raising for projects secured, primarily or solely, against the cash flows generated. This occurs typically with limited or no recourse to the corporate credit of the project sponsors. Focus is on healthcare, defence, transport and power in the infrastructure, power and industrial sectors.
Commodities and Resource Finance
This division is active in the precious and base metals, minerals, oil, gas and mining services in both emerging and developed markets. The team offers:

- Debt arranging and underwriting
- Structuring
- Hedging solutions
